What a week it has been for Corrine Hammond, who travelled to England to compete in the 32nd British Darts Open Lakeside World Championships.

Seeded 7th for the tournament, Corrine burst out of the blocks with 2-0 wins all through the week. Corrine defeated Patricia Farrel in her opening match, Casey Gallaher in the Quarter Final, and Anastasia Dobromvslova in the Semi’s to take her to her first Lakeside Final, where she faced Lisa Ashton.

Unfortunately, Corrine went down 3-0 in the Final against Ashton, however for Corrine to make it so far in a tournament which is so strong and holds such history is a fantastic achievement, and one Corrine should be proud of.

Congratulations Corrine!
